Another chilling winter is about to howl across the realm and dragons everywhere are taking advantage of an unusually bountiful fishing season! Frigidfin Expedition runs from December 4-8, and brings with it many rewards!

Frigidfin Expedition
The Frigidfin Expedition, one of Flight Rising's quarterly micro-holidays, is in full swing! From Thursday, December 4th to Monday, December 8th (06:00 Server Time), all players will experience a couple of battle-related boosts!



Bountiful Battles
For the duration of the Frigidfin Expedition, all all Coliseum enemies will have the chance to drop seafood items in addition to their normal loot. Other site activities such as gathering, breeding, bonding, brewing, and visiting some of the trading post dragons will also yield a chance at the expedition! Dragon clans everywhere are taking this time to stock up on fishes, clams, sharks, sponges, corals, snails, shrimp and more to feed them through the winter.

Battle EXP Boost
During the event, all battles will yield 50% additional EXP, so now is a perfect time for dragons to train. Grab your newest team and head out into battle!



Furry & Finned Fishers
Dragonkind are not the only ones taking advantage of the prosperous fishing season. As the oceans, lakes, and rivers teem with life, enterprising critters rush the shores. A few unique species of beaver and newly emerged Narwin capitalize on this seafood surge, catching fish not only for themselves, but as currency in a barter system with water-faring dragon clans. For the duration of the Frigidfin Expedition, these toothy familiars will drop occasionally in the Coliseum and rarely during Fishing. The Narwin will also drop from the coliseum and rarely from all types of gathering activities.

Once the expedition has concluded, the Narwin go back into hiding, but dragons may still encounter into one or two beavers while Fishing.

A vista and scene have a chance to drop in the coliseum and many other site-related activities.

Additional Updates

• Frigidfin Expedition got a bit ahead of itself this morning and some extra fishies dropped for players from 06:00 to 07:15 server time. This is now corrected and the Frigidfin Expedition will return at its original start date of Thursday, December 4th at 06:00 server time!
• The item picker used by Sophie's Splendid Stitches can now filter items by locked/unlocked status. By default, only unlocked items will be shown.

New trivia is up!  This time, I decided to delve a bit into some simple site lore.  What are these questions referring to?  Certain wajas have special titles attributed to them.  Those who recognize the names should know quite easily where in the Wajas Library to match the right title with the right waja!   And as a special pre-holiday treat, the WC prizes have been doubled! Referral Event Notice As some of you may have seen, we are hosting a Referral Event.  The Grand Prize for this event was an Impossible Custom OR an Opacity Glitch Custom of the winner's design.  Staff has realized that there was some confusion over how a winner would be chosen, with some believing it to be random and some believing it to be based on the number of people that were referred.  We understand that this was an error on our part, and deeply apologize for the confusion. In an effort to rectify the situation, we are going to do two things: We will be extending the Referral Event for two weeks.  It will now end on December 16th EOD . We will be offering  two grand prizes.  One for the person who has referred the most people, and one will be randomly drawn (1 entry per person referred). The new Christmas Tree feature for this year is up and running on user profiles! You start off with a basic tree. Premium users have a choice of 2 toppers. The Christmas lights you buy in the Holiday shop are now usable on the tree. When you use the item from your inventory there will be a option to decorate your tree. You can only use 1 pair of lights at a time and have to buy them every time you want to switch. You can also choose to have the lights on or off on your tree. [/center]
