Ancient Breeds: Vigil Dragons
Vigil Dragons
Vigil dragons observe the dragon clans of Sornieth, and welcome them to dwell within the stillness. These fearsome dragons stand watch over friend and foe, ready to join the eleven flights!
Dragon clans may learn about the characteristics of their fellow dragons in the Encyclopedia.
If you’re looking to change any of your existing dragons into a Vigil, breed change scrolls have a chance to stock in the Ancient Genes section of the Treasure Marketplace.
Glorious Gifts:
To celebrate the debut of the Vigil breed, all active players can visit Galore’s Glorious Gifts and pick up two Vigil eggs!
Vigil Genes: Unique & Parallel
It wouldn't be an Ancient Breed release without an impressive slate of unique and parallel genes!
Unique Genes
You can pick up the following unique Vigil genes in the Treasure & Gem Marketplace:
Dragons that battle in the Coliseum may rarely receive Ancient Gene Parchment: Porcelain when opponents are defeated. This parchment can be exchanged at Glass and Gloss' Genuine Genes for the ancient version of the gene.
You can trade for Ancient Gene Parchment: Crosshatch and Ancient Gene Parchment: Hatch at Swipp's Swap Stand. , These parchments can be exchanged at Glass and Gloss' Genuine Genes for the ancient versions of the genes.
Dragons of great renown may cash in on their fame for Ancient Gene Parchment: Webmane at The Acclaimed Achievements Association. This parchment can be exchanged at Glass and Gloss' Genuine Genes for the ancient version of the gene.
Parallel Genes
In addition to the unique genes above, Vigil can also exhibit some parallel genes that resemble those found in Modern dragons or other Ancients. The parallel genes releasing today are:

A new achievement Keeping Vigil is now available! To unlock this achievement, obtain a Vigil dragon through hatching, Crossroads, or the Auction House.
Hibernal Den Tasks 
New hibernal den slot unlock tasks have been added! You can complete item turn-ins to expand your clan's capacity to hold hibernating (inactive) dragons!
