January releases are now live! This release update includes new genes, companions, and spotlight packages. Keep reading for previews and more information.


First up, our Butterfly Burst gene! This beautiful gene has been released as a body marking and comes in 13 variants. For those of you interested in collecting, the entire series is available in the cash shop as a Spotlight package. This package will be available January through the month of Feb.

In addition to being available as a spotlight package, a handful of variants are available individually in the cash shop and magic shop in varying stocking cycles. Lastly, the following alliances have variants of the butterfly burst body marking

- Paravale
- Iazinata
- Fleoqispe
- Cacearun

Next up, we have four new companions now available in the Companion forest.

Skoowk - Owl type companion
Ukeek - Mouse type companion
Qeen - Winged feline type companion
Uason - Dragon type companion

Lastly, the new Sekhmet locks are stocked individually in the cash shop along with the spotlight package option. These locks will be available through the month of January.

FEB 19 UPDATE: Aero's site themes are now the default for reasons explained below in the original news post. If you find any outstanding readability issues please report them on this forum thread so we can address them. Many, many thanks to everyone who beta tested these new themes and reported issues. They are already making it easier to add new features, and a lot of people are using the new Mysterious theme. For reference and comparision you can temporarily switch back to the old themes is Settings > Preferences, but that option will go away next week. Pinata Mania has an array of new consolation items! These pinatas sure seem filled with sweets of all sorts. Not all edible sorts, but sorts -- how sweet!

We're also kicking off 2024 with a colouring contest! It looks like our Xephyr friend here has found the perfect way to get some peace and quiet and keep their ears warm -- and they have some curious visitors. Help bring their new year to life with some colour!

Please keep the following rules regarding your entry in mind:

Rule 1 - Any work submitted must be your own. You cannot ask another User, a friend, or a family member to colour the image for you.
Rule 2 - One entry per User.
Rule 3 - You may use any means to colour your entry. Traditional, digital, etc!
Rule 4 - All entries submitted must be considered appropriate under the Terms and Conditions of IcePets.
Rule 5 - The contest is held anonymously. Showing your artwork to other Users during the contest will disqualify you from the contest.
Rule 6 - Your image must be uploaded and sent to Tinkerbell by January 18th, 23:59:59 (IcePets Time). It does not matter what website you upload it to or in what format. Your submission will count as long as it is sent to Tinkerbell within the time frame. You only need to submit the image URL.
