My fellow Terrafrostians, I have some bad news to inform you about. Some of you may have noticed that over the last month and a half things have been a little rocky. Items being released/in quests but no news about them, some news posts being delayed, etc. I wanted to wait until the end of Novitaria to actually share some bad news.

In light of recent disagreements, we have unfortunately lost our amazingly dedicated team who focused on the day to day operations of the site while I focused on the coding aspects. This is a huge loss for us, and not a role that I'm personally able to fill.

So what does this mean for Icepets? I am still around, and my focus going forward will be on bringing the remaining features from the legacy site into the new site. Getting everything under one roof is the priority right now before taking on anything new. Other things such as Member of the Month, Trivia, Staff of the Month, item releases all will be put on an indefinite hold.

Icepets has been a hobby project for me, for a while now and I've burnt out from it on multiple occasions. Going from a full time job (coding) and coming home to work on it some more has seriously taken a toll on me. Back in February I lost my job and have had to actively search for a new one, eating up a lot of my time.

This is not the end for Icepets, but I understand if it's viewed as one. If you spot any bugs or issues, please let me know and I'll do my best to get them sorted.

Waja of the Month We have finished deciding the winners for the March and April's Waja of the month!  There was some tough competition, so we opted to boost the prizes , which means that we will  have more winners .  The additional winners will not receive the cute banners that they can put on their Wajas page, but they will get prizes.
